What We Do
Research and Program Evaluation
CCPA utilizes a theory-based Performance Logic Model evaluation system designed to produce usable information – so policy makers can make sound budget and policy decisions; service providers can practice continuous improvement; and community stakeholders can understanding whether they are making progress. CCPA has extensive experience with both theory-based and experimental research evaluation designs. CCPA has the capacity to deliver all components of an evaluation, including:
• developing common data variables and data collection methods;
• crafting survey instruments;
• developing relevant and understandable outcome statements;
• building assessment tools; and
• performing wide-ranging and comprehensive statistical analyses.
Resource Development
CCPA works to secure resources for public and private agencies to deliver services. CCPA is well-suited to deliver successful grant proposals, given is expertise in conducting strength and needs assessments, designing programs and service delivery models, and implementing program evaluation. CCPA is also adept at using data to understand target areas and populations.
Strategic Planning
CCPA designs and facilitates processes to produce comprehensive strategic plans. CCPA utilizes consensus-building techniques to garner agreement from broad cross-sections of community stakeholders across a variety of issue areas, including:
• juvenile justice action plans;
• coordinated service delivery along a continuum of prevention, intervention, and suppression;
• community-wide violence prevention;
• human service program design and planning; and
• alternative education, truancy reduction, and other school-related initiatives.
Systems Change
CCPA works with education, social welfare, health, and justice system practitioners to design and implement systems change – so health, human, and justice system services are more effective and efficient. Systems change variables include improving customer service, reducing lengths of stay, improving allocations processes, building continuums of care, strengthening case management, and making data-driven decisions.
